Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence
UR is an automated assistant. Your messages and property details are sent to a third-party artificial intelligence provider (currently OpenAI) so that UR can understand you and respond. Do not send us sensitive information you would not want processed this way, including government identification numbers, financial account numbers, or health information. UR's estimates and answers are generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and are not an appraisal or professional advice.
How We Use Your Information
- Estimate your home's value and answer your questions about selling it
- Connect you with real estate agents and cash buyers, and schedule home visits
- Communicate with you by text message, phone, or email — including follow-up, reminders, and marketing and promotional messages about our services
- Improve our website, our assistant, and our services
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
Who We Provide Your Information To
We do not sell your personal information. Asking UR a question, or getting a home value estimate, does not send your information to anyone outside our service providers.
If you tell us you want to be matched with a real estate agent, or that you want a cash offer, we will provide your name, phone number, property address, and the property details you gave us to the partner who handles that path so that they can contact you directly. That is the point of the introduction, and it happens only after you ask for it. We are compensated by those partners; we are never compensated by you.
- If you ask to be matched with a real estate agent: we provide your information to SellSignal (sellsignal.co), a marketplace of local licensed agents. This includes your name, phone number, property address, property details, timeline, reason for selling, occupancy status, and any notes you asked us to pass along. Agents pay SellSignal to claim your introduction, and a claiming agent receives your phone number and address so they can contact you and schedule a visit.
- If you ask for a cash offer: we provide your name, phone number, property address, and property details to Connected Land Buyers (connectedlandbuyers.com), a cash home buyer, so they can evaluate your home and make you an offer.
- Service providers who operate our systems on our behalf, including our text messaging provider (SignalHouse), our artificial intelligence provider (OpenAI), our database and hosting providers (Neon, Vercel), and our email provider. These providers process your information only to provide services to us.
- Law enforcement or others when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Feedback you give us about an agent visit is shared with SellSignal to administer its service guarantee. It is not shown to the agent you are describing.
Under some state privacy laws, providing your information to buyers and agents who compensate us may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You may opt out by contacting us, or simply by not asking to be matched with an agent or cash buyer. Replying STOP stops all text messages from us.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. However, no method of transmission over the internet or by text message is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Text messages are not encrypted end-to-end.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of the sharing described above. To exercise these rights, contact us through this website or reply to any message from UR. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
